Skuld has taken an active role on issues related to commercial activities in the Arctic, and our CEO Ståle Hansen is a member of the Arctic Business Council where Skuld has agreed to take a lead on Emergency Preparedness which is one of the eight target areas identified by the Council.
Skuld will accordingly be the point of contact for the Council and the Norwegian Shipowners' Association, and we aim to be the leading marine insurer when it comes to assisting the industry on this very important topic.
To be specific, we have taken responsibility for contributing to a set of common advice and standards for loss prevention in the Arctic.
Arctic Business Conference 2016
An important conference hosted by Arctic Business will be held in Bodø, Norway, on 25-26 May 2016.
